The catalytic conversion of green house gases to produce fuel-like or value added products is crucial in tackling the global warming-related issues. The industrial wastes include methanol, formic acid and carbon need to be processed in useful applications. During the recent past, efforts have been made to develop new catalytic systems for such transformations, However, the cost effectiveness, green processing, reactivity and recyclability are some major challenges yet to be resolved.
